Today I have added Google Analytics to my blog! I was little afraid, because at first I didn’t know how to do it.
Than I realized – hey, something like this was for sure solved by some Wordpress (WP) plug-in already! Let’s find it!
Than I found it – it’s called, surprisingly, Google Analytics for WordPress
.
If you’re a beginner in Internet marketing and everything is new for you, it is sometimes difficult just to do something.
It is good to know, that Wordpress, with its huge list of plug-ins can help. If you want do something in Wordpress, just look for “Worpdress plug-in <your problem description here>” and you will find something for sure!
What you need to do (after installing it), is to add your Google Analytics code to the plug-in settings page. The code looks something like UA-XXXXXX-XX.
All you need to do is to add the code and leave the rest of the settings untouched.
Here is the picture of the plug-in setting page (plug-in configuration screen).

Google Analytics code is on the main analytics page – link is https://www.google.com/analytics/settings/home .
Than you can check if it works through your Google Analytic account. On the main Analytics page https://www.google.com/analytics/settings/home click “Edit” link right from your domain name and on the next page click “Check Status”. It should report “Receiving Data”.
That’s it!
